featuring four Oklahoma economists on the Economics of Immigration.

March 11, 2008: Dr. Mickey Hepner led a panel discussion of ten
student leaders at the UCO American Democracy Project conference
held on the UCO campus. The session discussed ways to enhance civic
engagement among students.
February 26, 2008: Dr. Mickey Hepner was interviewed by Craig Day of
KOTV Channel 6 in Tulsa for a story on the FairTax. In addition to
Dr. Hepner, the story included interviews with U.S. Rep. John Linder
and nationally syndicated radio talk show host Neil Boortz. You can

February 12, 2008: Dr. Mickey Hepner spoke at the Spirit Bank Business
Forum to a group of 122 business leaders on the greatest threats to
our long-term prosperity.
December 2, 2007: Dr. Mickey Hepner was interviewed by the Edmond Sun

November 1, 2007: Dr. Mickey Hepner served as a panel leader for the
Oklahoma Academy's 2007 Town Hall Conference on Building Alliances
Between Tribal, State and Local Governments, and the Private Sector.
The conference's final report will be presented to the Governor and
the Legislature in January.
October 25, 2007: Dr. Jeremy Oller presented a paper at the Missouri
Valley Economic Association Conference in Kansas City, MO. The paper
is entitled "The Court's New Interpretation of Resale Price
Maintenance".
October 9, 2007: Dr. Mickey Hepner spoke about the tax burden facing
Oklahoma families to a group of community activists in South
