UCO Economics Students Get Involved

There are numerous ways that UCO Economics students can get involved:

sEconomics Cub: Many students join the Econ Club to learn more about how to apply economic knowledge outside the classroom. Recently several students participated with Oklahoma business and political leaders in the Oklahoma Academy's Town Hall Conference at Quartz Mountain. For more information about the Econ Club contact Club President Nadya Veleva at nadetoo@yahoo.com.au.

Omicron Delta Epsilon: an international honor society that recognizes the scholastic achievements of outstanding students interested in economics. To be eligible for admission a student must have completed 12 hours of economics with an overall minimum 3.0 GPA. For more information contact Dr. Don Maxwell at 974-5261.

sNational Association for Business Economics (NABE): provides a wide range of activities and services to promote professional development of the business economist/analyst. Every month students are invited to attend the Oklahoma City Economic Roundtable Luncheon where they can meet and mingle with business economists from Oklahoma. For more information contact Dr. Joe Johnson at 974-5838.
