11/11/05-- UCO Center is Commemorated for 30 Years of Economic Advocacy

The UCO Center for Economic Education was awarded a plaque in honor of its 30^th anniversary Tuesday at the annual meeting of the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education (OCEE.)

Present to accept the award (from left) were Michael Shirley, dean of the College of Business Administration; presenter Carol Hopper, OCEE board president and senior vice president and trust officer for Bank of Oklahoma; Sue Lynn Sasser, Center Director and Randal Ice, chair of the UCO Finance Department and OCEE board member.

“The UCO Center has been a constant advocate for economic education over the years.  It is a tremendous honor to commemorate them for the strides they have made in improving the quality and quantity of economic education in the metro area,” said Hopper.
