Title    Undergraduate Transfer Course Articulation          

Policy No.  1.10

Effective: Spring 2004

 

Policy Statement:  The undergraduate academic advisor has the authority to articulate transfer course areas in which he/she is the designated advisor. The advisor will assure the decision is not in conflict with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education’s Transfer Matrix.

 

Background: 

 

Purpose:  Clarify authority to make transfer articulation decisions.

 

Implementation Date:  Spring 2004

 

Related Procedures:  The advisor will make transfer articulation decisions only in those courses in which the transfer course description matches the university course description or in which the transfer course description meets the requirements of the course as stated by the department chair.  In instances in which the advisor does not have the requisite knowledge about the course in question, he/she will confer with the department chair for a decision.
