Policy Statement: University personnel shall distribute to students and prospective students only that program requirement information consistent with university requirements and policies as listed in the university graduate and undergraduate catalogs. Proposed changes shall be clearly marked as such. Background: Some academic departments have reformatted degree requirements. In this process, sometimes the official requirements are not accurately reflected. Purpose: Avoid confusing situations in which students receive conflicting information about degree requirements.
